What IMAEC Can Do We work in partnership with experienced doctors, trainers and medical aesthetics product suppliers to produce the much-needed medical aesthetics practitioners internationally. We are an independent centre that source for products and procedures that deliver the best possible results. All aspects of procedures and techniques are discussed, including the benefits, possible risks, risks management, and costs are deliberated and understood. We also view before and after photographs to provide a realistic portrayal of outcomes. We organize various international seminars that are targeted at raising awareness, giving in-depth insights and demonstrating the best and most up-to-date technologies available in the industry. In bigger events, international speakers and trainers are regular features of such seminars and the sharing of their vision, experiences and understanding would be invaluable to the participants. Workshops are very important, and they are regularly organized for different levels of doctors in this field. In each workshop, the number of participants is limited, to enable the participants to have better concentration and be given more personal attention. Patients are allocated for them to ensure they have the optimum hands-on experience in the workshops. At the end of the day, doctors are trained to be fully informed and acquainted with the procedures and completely comfortable administering them. We are also developing a database centre for the Asian skin, which stores relevant information and photographs of before and after effects of various cosmetic procedures. Our independence will enable diverse products to be tested and propagated and cosmetic doctors will find us informative and up-to-date. Given the time and resources, there is no reason why such a resource centre could not extend beyond the Asian shores in due time. |
