Mr Leong Sat Sing
Mr Leong has been a keen and diligent contributor to the field of education and training in Malaysia. Even though his undergraduate degree is in the field of Engineering ( University of Malaya), he started his career in the teaching and training of tertiary level students, including coaching of part-time students from the engineering workforce for professional examinations. After several years in teaching and training, he progressed in his career by joining INTI College, one of the largest private higher education institutions in the country, as the coordinator of its engineering department. His enthusiasm and previous experiences in private education soon landed him as the marketing director for the College and he began to be involved in the coaching and training of marketing personnel and training in other management topics. Within a couple of years, he obtained his MBA from the Heriot Watt University and since then the management of different aspects of higher education and training has become his forte.
After 13 years of contribution to the tremendous growth of INTI College (enabling its listing at the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange), Mr Leong saw the sun rise in the aesthetics field in the country. He decided to embark on this field by joining the Esthetics International Group, another public-listed company, as its General Manager for Education and Training. Various training courses were constantly organized for therapists, salon operators, students and managers alike, making known the Company as a unique organization with perpetual training on skin care and treatment procedures.
Mr Leong has seen the need for professionalism and integrity in the medical aesthetics industry and endeavoured to rally for medical practitioners, not only in Malaysia but also around the region, to be trained systematically and independently in this field.
